Nick DuBois

Managing Director

Nick brings to the table over 25 years’ experience in the commercial construction industry.

Harnessing the skills, relationships and experience gained through his time spent leading teams across a national client base.

Delivering a keen understanding of procurement models, a strong desire to implement new ideas and a personable approach, Nick is able to offer considerable insights and value to any project.

Gene Zalunardo

Construction Director

Gene has an enviable track record within the South Australian market delivering some iconic projects over his 16-year career.

Highly respected by both clients, consultants, and contractors Gene brings a high attention to detail, calm approach, and unwavering commitment to any project.

Jesse Cupkovic

Project Manager

Jesse joins the FORA team as a Project Manager, with extensive experience in his field.

Most recently Jesse worked for one of South Australia’s top tier 1 construction companies, and prior to that as Project Manager for a leading national construction & fitout company delivering new build, refurbishments and fitouts.

Rob Carchedi

Site Manager

Rob has an impressive portfolio of successfully delivered projects across fitout and construction within the South Australian and Victorian markets.

Over his 12 year site management career Rob has built a reputation for his fair approach and ability to maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors alike.

Outside of work Rob enjoys coaching soccer and spending time with family.

Reeve Wijayas

Site Manager

Reeve joined the FORA team in May 2023 as a Site Manager. Prior to this, Reeve was a foreman for a residential carpentry company. As a qualified carpenter he has a detailed understanding of the building process and isn’t afraid to roll his sleeves up to get the job done.

Reeve is incredibly motivated and a strong communicator, takes pride in ensuring his sites are safe and well-presented, and is looking to make his mark on the industry managing FORA sites in the million plus range.

Serge Loikin

Site Manager

Serge comes to FORA following a successful career as a Project Manager for a tier 1 mechanical services business.

His knowledge and experience strengthen our ability to deliver complex services projects. He is a motivated individual who wants the best outcome for any project.

 

Lucas Morais

Site Engineer

Lucas is a qualified engineer in his home country of Brazil. 

At FORA he performs the role of site support, ensuring our sites remain presentable, clean and orderly. 

Jonathan Tu

Contract Administrator

Having completed his Bachelor of Architectural Design, Jonathan has pursued a career in construction and is currently completing his Master of Construction Management.

Jonathan will support and underpin our delivery teams as we continue to grow.

Stacey DuBois

Company Administration

In her 20 year career, Stacey has worked in various roles within the property industry including as a high performing client-side project manager delivering high-profile commercial fitouts and facilities management for large corporate CBD tenants.

Managing boutique residential and hospitality projects for repeat clients. A meticulous planner, strong communicator and with a tireless work ethic, Stacey is the rock we all need in our corner.

Melissa Burgess

Finance Controller

Melissa is a Chartered Accountant, having graduated from Adelaide University with a Commerce (Accounting) degree and going on to complete her Chartered Accountant studies. 

Having worked in the accounting industry for over 10 years’ she has a broad range of experience in finance and business management, from preparation of budgets and financial reporting to advising on strategy, investment decisions and cashflow management.

URPS

FORA handed over the new CBD home for URPS’s. The PROSKE designed project features stunning architectural moments and intimate interior spaces. The base building high windows bring radiant light into the space emphasising the industrial feel of the space. Delivered within a recently completed building the fitout happened concurrently and harmoniously with the completion of the landlord works.

The building works included;

  • Custom joinery throughout
  • Feature floor finishes
  • Workstation and furniture installation
  • External balcony works

HSBC

FORA had the opportunity to create the flagship branch for HSBC situated in Rundle Mall, Adelaide. This project involved providing sophisticated front of house amenity, high security integration and luxury finishes. The site was built in an open atrium with vaulted ceilings, extensive structural steel was installed at high level to support the complex ceiling detailing as well as the fitout standing on a raised floor. With intricate security barriers to ensure safe delineation between front and back of house as well as secure shutters to protect the staff.

The project took 12 weeks from commencement to completion with an accelerated program to achieve the banks critical dates.

The building works included;

  • installation of high-level structural steel to support the ceiling
  • multiple ceiling levels and finishes with integrated lighting and services
  • secure shutters and attack resistant doors
  • luxurious finishes to joinery and wall paneling
  • external building signage
  • install of ATMs, banking equipment and security
  • custom joinery throughout

CIRQA

FORA have recently handed over the new CBD home for Cirqa, situated at 27 Halifax. The PROSKE designed project features bright and airy design filled with natural light beamed in from the saw-tooth high windows. With polished concrete floors, warm-toned textures and an elevated finish the space is welcoming and vibrant.

The building works included;

  • Custom joinery throughout
  • Feature floor finishes
  • Workstation and furniture installation

Advanced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

FORA have recently handed over the Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Angas St. Designed by Studio 9, this two-level medical facility features operating theatres, CSSD, oral surgeries and consulting suites. FORA liaised with SA Health to ensure the facilities were approved for use. Extensive timber finishes were adopted throughout to achieve a sophisticated and elegant design outcome.

The building works included:

  • custom joinery throughout
  • feature floor finishes
  • CSSD and operating theatres
  • inground thermal plant
  • sterile medical areas
  • SA Health certification

Bar Riot

FORA were engaged to deliver the new CBD home for Riot Wine on Gilbert Street, Adelaide. 

The site had previously operated as a restaurant and our client wanted to ensure the changes would bring a new identity to the space.

As on-site design adjustments were necessary, FORA were able to respond swiftly to the changes and ensure progress was maintained.

The building works included;

  • high end bar finishes
  • structural modifications to create new openings
    front of house
  • modifications including
  • new suspended drink fonts
  • new commercial kitchen including services
  • custom joinery and upholstery throughout

Smile Clinic

FORA were engaged under a D&C contract to construct this three-chair dental clinic for Smile Clinic in Seaford Meadows. FORA managed the council and building approval process as well as final design and cost planning. Working closely with our contractors we ensured a compliant and functional fast-tracked delivery.

The project works included;

  • all preconstruction activity (design, approvals, cost planning)
  • new flooring, partitions, lighting, reception and signage
  • custom joinery throughout to suit dental
  • in-ground services for dental chairs
  • sterilisation room, plant room with suction and compressor
  • third -party body protection certification

Our Boy Roy

FORA were engaged to oversee the complete refurbishment of Our Boy Roy Cafe & Delicatessen, converting a previously dark and disconnected series of tenancies into one open and bright space. 

FORA worked closely with the client and their design team on the Clarence Park site, to ensure every detail was considered and executed.

The project took 8 weeks from commencement to completion.

The building works included;

  • demolition of the previous fitout including asbestos removal
  • structural modifications to raise and open the connecting tenancy walls
  • new flooring, ceiling, wall finishes, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing
  • new commercial kitchen including services
  • custom joinery throughout 
  • external building upgrade including heritage façade repairs, verandah, and external painting with mural

Healthy Life Foot Clinic

FORA were engaged to execute the complete make good and fit out of Healthy Life Foot Clinic, a Hazelwood Park podiatry clinic. 

FORA completed the strip out and make good to bring the tenancy to a warm shell, followed by the completion of the new medical fit out. 

FORA managed all elements of the final design direct with the client and accelerated the program to meet critical deadlines.

The building works included;

  • demolition of previous tenancy
  • new flooring, partitions, lighting, and signage
  • new kitchenette including services
  • custom joinery throughout
